JOB OVERVIEW

* Video Editor with Descript Experience**
Starting at $700 with room for future progression.
We are looking for a skilled video editor who has strong experience using **Descript** to help edit long-form video YouTube videos, social media adverts, podcasts interviews, and short-form social media clips.

The ideal person should be comfortable working with talking-head content and turning raw footage into polished, engaging videos that are ready to publish across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.

**Responsibilities include:**
Confidence creating YouTube Longform videos in Descript.
Familiarity with Longford videos in Descript.
removing filler words, pauses, and mistakes
Creating smooth cuts that keep the conversation natural and engaging
Adding captions/subtitles where required
Creating short-form clips from longer videos
Adding graphics, titles, b-roll, music, and branded elements where needed
Exporting videos in the correct formats for different platforms
Working efficiently and meeting agreed deadlines

**Requirements:**

Proven experience editing videos using Descript
Good understanding of Longford YouTube videos, social media adverts, podcast, interview, and social media video formats
Ability to make edits feel natural, clean, and professional
Experience creating short-form clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn
Good attention to detail
Reliable communication and ability to follow instructions
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software is a bonus

**Type of work:**

Full time work after a 2 week trial period.
