JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing U.S.-based junk removal/local service company looking for a highly capable **Business Operations & Marketing Manager** to become a key part of our company.

This is **NOT a basic Virtual Assistant position.**

We are looking for someone who can eventually become the owner's **right-hand person** and help keep the business organized, marketed, followed up and moving forward every day.

You will begin with clearly defined systems and responsibilities, but as you learn the company, we want you to become someone who can identify problems and opportunities without waiting for the owner to tell you everything that needs to be done.

## YOUR ROLE

Your responsibilities will cover several parts of the business.

### BUSINESS OPERATIONS

You will help:

* Keep daily business tasks organized
* Monitor open leads and opportunities
* Help manage scheduling and appointments
* Keep customer information organized
* Make sure leads receive proper follow-up
* Monitor jobs moving through our CRM/pipeline
* Identify leads or customers that are being missed
* Maintain business trackers and systems
* Help organize estimates and customer information
* Assist with customer communication
* Monitor important business KPIs
* Prepare weekly performance reports
* Identify problems that need the owner's attention
* Help create and improve business processes
* Make sure assigned work actually gets completed

The goal is for you to eventually understand the business well enough to recognize what needs attention before the owner has to ask.

### MARKETING

You will also help operate our marketing system, including:

* Local SEO
* Website updates
* WordPress / website builder
* Google Search Console
* Google Business Profile
* On-page SEO
* Internal linking
* City and service page optimization
* Keyword/ranking tracking
* Review management
* Competitor research
* Citation and backlink research
* Local partnership outreach
* Facebook and Instagram
* YouTube / short-form content
* Canva and/or CapCut
* Repurposing raw job photos and videos
* Facebook/Meta advertising support
* Marketing performance tracking

We already have a detailed SEO and marketing strategy being built.

We are **not hiring someone to throw away the existing strategy and start over.**

Your job will be to learn the system, execute it, help improve it and document results.

### CRM & LEAD MANAGEMENT

We use GoHighLevel as part of our business.

You may help with:

* New lead management
* Pipeline organization
* Lead follow-up
* Picture requests
* Appointment/booking workflows
* Missed lead follow-up
* Customer communication
* Review requests
* Lead source tracking
* Reactivation campaigns
* Basic workflow management

GoHighLevel experience is a major advantage, but we can train the right person.

## AI WILL BE PART OF YOUR JOB

We use ChatGPT heavily throughout the business.

You will have access to documented company information, operating procedures and marketing strategy.

ChatGPT will help walk you through unfamiliar tasks, research, marketing work and processes.

However, you are responsible for checking your work.

We do NOT want someone who blindly copies AI-generated answers.

We want someone who knows how to use AI to become **faster and more capable.**

## ACCOUNTABILITY

We care about results, not vague activity reports.

For example, we do NOT want:

> "Worked on SEO today."

We want:

> "Updated the Ringgold service page, added 4 internal links, researched 8 local backlink prospects, contacted 5 businesses and recorded everything in the tracker."

Completed work should include evidence whenever possible.

This may include:

* URLs
* Screenshots
* Tracker updates
* Published content
* Outreach records
* Lead results
* Advertising results
* Ranking changes

This position will have real responsibility.

## HOURS

**Full-Time — approximately 40 hours per week**

Our company operates in the United States on **Eastern Time**.

You do not necessarily need to work the entire U.S. daytime schedule, but regular overlap with our operating hours will be required.

## COMPENSATION

**$800–$1,100 USD per month depending on experience and demonstrated ability.**

There will be an initial evaluation period.

Someone who proves they can take significant responsibility off the owner's plate will have opportunities for increased compensation, responsibility and long-term growth.
