Business Operations Manager | QuickBooks, Inventory & Marketing
JOB OVERVIEW
We are a growing US-based company seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Business Operations Manager to join our team in a long-term remote role.
This position is approximately 70% focused on operations, bookkeeping, inventory management, and reporting, and 30% focused on social media and marketing initiatives. We're looking for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, takes ownership of their work, and is eager to contribute to both the operational and growth aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Operations, Bookkeeping & Inventory
* Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
* Process and organize bookkeeping transactions and reports.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing and stock management.
* Prepare regular reports to support business decisions.
* Coordinate with vendors and help ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.
* Support special projects and business initiatives as needed.
Social Media & Marketing
* Create engaging content for social media platforms.
* Develop content calendars and posting schedules.
* Monitor social media engagement and performance.
* Assist with marketing campaigns and brand growth initiatives.
* Generate creative ideas to increase visibility, customer engagement, and sales.
* Analyze marketing performance and recommend improvements.
Requirements
* Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
* Previous experience in bookkeeping, operations, inventory management, administrative support, or a related role.
* Experience managing social media activities for a business or brand.
* Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
* Comfortable working during US Eastern Time business hours.
Nice to Have
* Experience supporting small businesses or growing companies.
* Experience with inventory management and reporting.

Compensation & Schedule
* Full-time remote position.
* Approximately 43–45 hours per week.
* US Eastern Time schedule (exact hours will be discussed during the interview process).
* Starting salary: $700/month, with opportunities for growth based on performance and contribution.
