About Maid Sailors

Maid Sailors is New York City’s trusted cleaning service. We serve both residential and commercial clients and are expanding our B2B sales team. We are looking for a motivated and resilient Business Development Representative (BDR) who loves the challenge of prospecting, cold calling, and generating new business opportunities.

This is a long-term role with growth potential for the right candidate.

Job Description

The BDR will focus on outbound lead generation only. Your main responsibility is to identify and reach out to businesses in NYC (retail stores, medical spas, real estate agents, schools, offices, property managers, etc.), secure meetings, and generate leads for our sales team to close.

You must be comfortable with high-volume cold calling and emailing, adapting your messaging for different industries, and tracking everything in Pipedrive CRM and Slack.

Responsibilities
* Perform daily outbound prospecting (cold calls, cold emails, LinkedIn outreach).
* Use Pipedrive CRM to track leads, calls, and progress.
* Communicate and coordinate with the team through Slack.
* Book qualified meetings and generate quotes for the sales team.
* Reach daily activity targets (calls, emails, touchpoints).
* Tailor outreach to different business niches (retail, medical, real estate, etc.).

Requirements
* Proven outbound sales experience (BDR/SDR, telesales, or similar role).
* Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
* Must be comfortable cold calling all day.
* Highly resilient, persistent, and motivated to hit daily goals.
* Organized and detail-oriented in managing leads.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
* Familiarity with CRMs (Pipedrive experience preferred).

Compensation & Benefits
* Base pay: $15/hour (20 hours per week to start).
* Commission:
* $5 per outbound lead generated (meeting booked or quote created).
* 3% of the first month’s revenue from closed deals (outbound leads only).
* PTO included (2 weeks)

Work Schedule
* 9am - 1pm EST, Monday through Friday
* Must overlap with New York City business hours for outreach.
