JOB OVERVIEW

Nexus Finance is a fast-growing Canadian business financing firm helping small businesses access working capital, equipment financing, and merchant cash advances.

We receive hundreds of inbound funding inquiries each month from business owners looking for capital. We are looking for a highly motivated Inbound Business Development Representative (BDR) to contact these leads quickly, qualify them, and pass them to our funding advisors.

This role is ideal for someone who is competitive, persistent, and comfortable making a high volume of calls every day.

Responsibilities

• Call inbound leads within minutes of submission
• Follow up aggressively with leads via phone, SMS, and email
• Qualify business owners and gather basic information
• Request and collect required documents (bank statements, applications, etc.)
• Keep CRM records updated and organized
• Coordinate with funding advisors to move deals forward quickly
• Maintain a high daily call volume and consistent follow-up

Daily Expectations

• High volume outbound calling (150+ dials per day)
• Rapid response to new inbound leads
• Persistent follow-up on unresponsive leads
• Consistent CRM updates and documentation

Ideal Candidate

• Comfortable making a high number of calls daily
• Strong communication and persuasion skills
• Competitive and goal-oriented mindset
• Organized and able to follow structured processes
• Previous call center, sales, or telemarketing experience is an asset
• Reliable internet connection and quiet working environment
