Please follow our LinkedIn page before you apply:
It is a step we ask everyone to complete. Our buyers live on LinkedIn - you will spend your days researching product and partnership leaders at SaaS platforms and writing to them, so the platform is where this job actually happens. Following the page also puts our posts in front of you, so you will understand our product and our customers before your first interview. When you apply, just include the name on your LinkedIn profile so we can match it up.

WE ARE HIRING 5 PEOPLE FOR THIS ROLE
This is not a single backfill. We are in an aggressive growth push and we are building an entire outbound team at once.
What that means for you:
- You will be trained alongside other new reps instead of being dropped in alone
- The playbook is being written right now, and what you learn in the field goes into it
- We are building a team, which means senior and team-lead seats open up from the inside
- We would rather hire five people and grow the ones who click than hire one and hope
If you want a quiet role at a company that is not changing, this is not it. If you want to be early in something being built, keep reading.

WHAT CUSTOMDOMAIN ACTUALLY DOES - IN PLAIN LANGUAGE
Say you build a website on a platform like Framer, Webflow, Squarespace, or one of the new AI site builders. You finish it, and now you want it to live at
Right now the platform tells you: "go into your domain registrar and add these CNAME and TXT records." A lot of people have no idea what that sentence means. They get it wrong, they get stuck, or they give up entirely.
That one step is where platforms quietly lose customers. It is also where a large share of their support tickets come from.
CUSTOMDOMAIN makes it disappear. We connect to the customer's registrar and write those records for them - scoped, signed, and verified with the DNS provider - then clean everything up precisely when a domain is disconnected. The customer clicks a button and the domain just works.
WHO WE SELL TO:
Any platform whose customers bring their own domain - website and AI app builders, no-code platforms, newsletter and CMS tools, e-commerce platforms, registrars and DNS providers. Every one of them has this problem. Most of them have not fixed it. Your job is to find the person inside who owns that activation number and show them what it is costing.
------------------------------------------------------------
THE ROLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REP
You build our pipeline. You find platforms with a "connect your domain" flow, identify the right person inside them, figure out why now, and write something that earns a reply.
This role is unusually research-heavy, and that is on purpose. Anyone can send a thousand emails. We want the person who can open a platform's signup flow, find the exact screen where their users get stuck on DNS, and write three sentences about it that make a Head of Product reply.
A NORMAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:
- Building verified prospect lists across our segments - builders and no-code platforms, registrar and DNS providers, accelerators and their portfolios
- Walking each platform's actual onboarding flow to find where the domain step lives and where it breaks
- Hunting trigger events: funding, new launches, a domain-connection feature shipping, public support complaints, relevant job postings
- Identifying the right contact - we prioritize product and partnership leaders over CEOs
- Writing personalized outbound emails and short, specific messages
- Booking qualified calls for the founder
- Keeping the CRM clean and logging the source URL behind every claim
HOW WE WORK - OUR RESEARCH STANDARDS:
- Every prospect entry needs a source URL and a confidence level: high, medium, or low
- Never invent a name, an email, or a LinkedIn URL - accuracy matters more than volume here
- No automation, no scraping tools, no bulk connection blasts. Research only; the founder does all LinkedIn outreach personally.
- A short verified list beats a long speculative one. A quiet week reported honestly is completely fine.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN 90 DAYS:
- Month 1 - you can explain the DNS problem we solve to a non-technical person, and your lists are clean and sourced
- Month 2 - your messages are getting replies from real product and partnership people
- Month 3 - you have a repeatable weekly rhythm and predictable meeting numbers
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Excellent written English. This matters more here than anything else on your resume.
- 1+ year in B2B/SaaS lead gen, sales development, or research. Strong writers with less experience are still welcome to apply.
- Genuinely comfortable researching technical products and reading a company's docs or onboarding flow
- Precise, well-sourced, and straightforward about how confident you are in what you found
- Familiar with a CRM and an outreach tool (HubSpot, Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead, or similar)
- Reliable internet, a working computer, and overlap with US Central Time
NICE TO HAVE:
- You know what DNS, a CNAME, and a TXT record are - or you can learn it quickly
- Experience selling to product, platform, or partnership teams
- Familiarity with tools like Vercel, Netlify, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Squarespace, Cloudflare, or GoDaddy
------------------------------------------------------------
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
- $7.00 USD per hour
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (approx. $1,213 USD/month)
- Paid every two weeks
- Long-term role, working directly with the founder
- Overlap required with US Central Time business hours

HOW TO APPLY
1) Follow our LinkedIn page:
2) Start your application with the word CUSTOMDOMAIN-BDR so we know you read the whole thing
3) Include the name on your LinkedIn profile so we can match it up
4) Name one real SaaS platform that lets customers connect their own domain, link to the page where you found that flow, and tell us in 2 sentences why they would want us
5) Paste a cold email (100 words or less) you would send to that platform's Head of Product
We read every application that includes these. Looking forward to hearing from you.
