Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst to join our family office, working with a diverse portfolio of companies across multiple industries. Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Analysis
Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive intelligence. Develop actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making across the portfolio companies.
Opportunity Identification
Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and investment strategies across a variety of industries. Provide detailed recommendations to leadership on potential avenues for growth and expansion.
Financial Analysis
Perform financial modeling and data analysis to assess the feasibility of new ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
Strategic Planning
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement growth strategies tailored to each business within the portfolio. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the effectiveness of strategies to ensure continued success.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with business leaders, finance teams, and external consultants to align on objectives and deliver cohesive solutions that drive performance. Coordinate between multiple companies to leverage synergies and share best practices.
Presentations and Reporting
Create and deliver professional presentations for executives and stakeholders, summarizing key insights, progress on initiatives, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven experience in market research and financial modeling.
*Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
*Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to a fast-paced, multi-industry environment.
*Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
