About the Role
We are hiring a Business Development Manager / Sales Closer to own the middle and bottom of the sales funnel.
This is not an entry-level sales role. We are looking for someone who can confidently lead discovery calls, diagnose hiring pain points, present recruiting solutions, handle objections, negotiate fees, and close new client business.
You will work closely with leadership and recruiting to convert qualified opportunities into signed agreements and successful placements.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Generate high quality leads
Lead discovery calls with Director-level and C-suite decision-makers
Turn qualified leads into signed search agreements
Deliver tailored proposals that clearly communicate value and urgency
Maintain a healthy pipeline and accurate forecast
Partner with SDR support to improve lead quality and conversion
Identify expansion opportunities including retainers, exclusive searches, and additional department needs
Track, report, and improve key performance metrics weekly
Performance Expectations
Success in this role will be measured by clear outcomes, including:
12+ discovery calls per month
6+ tailored proposals per month
4+ new client contracts per quarter
30-40% close rate fro
Strong average deal quality and fee integrity
Who We’re Looking For
You may be a strong fit if you have:
3+ years of closing experience in recruiting, staffing, or B2B services
A proven track record of closing deals consistently
Experience selling to U.S.-based executives over Zoom or video calls
Strong objection handling and high-fee negotiation skills
Confidence operating in a KPI-driven, performance-focused environment
Experience using tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator,
A high level of ownership, urgency, and follow-through
