About MindDiary
MindDiary is an early-stage practice management platform built for therapists and counsellors in Ireland and the UK. It helps practitioners manage enquiries, client intake, appointments, notes, payments and between-session engagement in one place.
We are hiring a full-time Business Development Associate to help us find, engage and onboard our first group of customers. You will work directly with the founder and play an important role in developing MindDiary’s sales process.
What you will do
• Research independent therapists, counsellors and small therapy practices in Ireland and the UK
• Identify relevant prospects and build accurate contact lists
• Contact prospects through personalised email, LinkedIn and phone outreach
• Have professional and friendly conversations with potential customers
• Understand how therapists currently manage appointments, intake forms, notes and payments
• Identify suitable prospects and schedule product demonstrations with the founder
• Follow up consistently with prospects and demo attendees
• Help convert interested therapists into early customers or design partners
• Assist new customers during their initial onboarding
• Keep contact information, conversations and lead statuses updated in the CRM
• Collect customer feedback and report recurring needs, questions and objections
• Test different outreach approaches and improve them based on results
• Provide a clear weekly report covering outreach, replies, conversations, demos and outcomes
What we are looking for
• Strong spoken and written English
• Confident and professional communication over email, phone and video calls
• Experience in business development, sales, appointment setting, lead generation or customer service
• Comfortable initiating conversations with new prospects and handling rejection professionally
• Able to personalise outreach instead of sending generic mass messages
• Strong research, organisation and follow-up skills
• Dependable, self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• Willing to learn the MindDiary product and understand the needs of therapists
• Available full-time with substantial overlap with Ireland and UK business hours
• Reliable internet connection, working computer and a quiet environment for calls
Nice to have
• Experience selling SaaS or other online services
• Experience working with healthcare, therapy, wellness or professional-services businesses
• Familiarity with CRM systems, LinkedIn prospecting and cold
• Previous experience working remotely with an international company
• Experience supporting customer onboarding or delivering software demonstrations
Working hours
This is a full-time remote position requiring 40 hours per week. Your schedule must include substantial overlap with Ireland and UK business hours because prospects will be contacted during their working day.
Compensation
• US$500 per month
• Additional performance bonuses based on qualified demonstrations and paying customers
• Long-term opportunity with compensation reviews as MindDiary grows
How success will be measured
• Suitable prospects researched and contacted
• Quality and personalisation of outreach
• Positive responses and qualified conversations
• Product demonstrations scheduled and attended
• Consistency and quality of follow-ups
• Paying customers generated
• Accuracy of CRM records and weekly reporting
How to apply
Please include the following:
1. A short introduction explaining your relevant experience
2. An example of how you previously generated leads, meetings or customers
3. A 60–90 second voice or video introduction
4. A short sample message you would send to an independent therapist in Ireland to introduce MindDiary
5. Your availability in Irish time
6. Confirmation that you are comfortable with the US$500 monthly salary
Please personalise your application and mention MindDiary. Generic applications that do not address the role will not be considered.
