Brand Bros is looking for a dependable, organized, creative, and sales-minded Branded Merchandise Sales Manager to lead our promotional products business.
This person will manage the entire order process, from generating leads and helping customers select the right products to preparing artwork, coordinating production, tracking orders, and confirming final delivery. They will also help grow this area of our business through inbound lead follow-up, cold calling, email outreach, and relationship-building.
This is a full-time, remote position. For someone who is motivated and successful in generating new business, there is substantial opportunity to increase their earnings through commission.
Responsibilities Include:
- Sales and Business Development
- Respond promptly to inbound leads and customer inquiries.
- Conduct cold calls, email outreach, and follow-ups with prospective customers.
- Build relationships with current customers and identify opportunities for repeat business.
- Learn about each customer’s needs, goals, audience, budget, quantity, and timeline.
- Recommend branded merchandise that supports the customer’s goals.
- Prepare quotes and consistently follow up to close sales.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer conversations, quotes, and sales activity.
- Identify new opportunities to grow Brand Bros’ branded merchandise business.
- Product Research and Sourcing
- Search our online database of approximately 100,000 promotional products.
- Find products that meet each customer’s budget, deadline, quantity, and branding needs.
- Contact vendors to confirm pricing, inventory, production timelines, shipping costs, and decoration options.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Identify reliable products and suppliers that offer the best combination of quality, price, and turnaround time.
- Present customers with clear, well-organized product recommendations.
- Use industry platforms such as CommonSku and ASI to research products, prepare quotes, manage orders, and maintain customer information.
- Artwork and Production Setup
- Collect customer logos, brand guidelines, artwork files, imprint requirements, and other necessary materials.
- Use Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar design tools to prepare product artwork and mockups.
- Resize, adjust, and prepare customer logos for different products and decoration methods.
- Confirm that artwork meets vendor specifications before it is submitted for production.
- Coordinate with Brand Bros and contract graphic designers when more advanced design assistance is needed.
- Submit artwork to vendors and manage the proofing and approval process.
- Review proofs carefully for logo placement, colors, sizing, spelling, and overall accuracy.
- Obtain customer approval before an order enters production.
- Experience preparing artwork for embroidery, screen printing, direct-to-garment printing, heat transfer, engraving, sublimation, or other decoration methods is preferred.
- Order and Project Management
- Manage every branded merchandise order from the initial request through final delivery.
- Place orders accurately and verify all product, quantity, color, size, imprint, pricing, and shipping details.
- Monitor production schedules and shipping timelines.
- Keep customers informed about the status of their orders.
- Quickly address artwork, inventory, production, vendor, or shipping issues.
- Confirm that completed orders are delivered correctly and on time.
- Coordinate vendor invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment.
- Follow up with customers after delivery to confirm satisfaction and identify reorder opportunities.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation for every order.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be:
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Available Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm EST
- Comfortable speaking with customers
- Proficient in using CommonSku (REQUIRED)
- Experience using GoHighLevel
- Comfortable using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar design software. (REQUIRED)
- Professional, friendly, and confident in customer communications.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple orders and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, particularly when reviewing pricing, quantities, artwork, proofs, and shipping information.
- Sales-minded and motivated to generate and close new business.
- Proactive about following up, communicating, and solving problems.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Able to prepare basic product artwork, mockups, and production-ready files.
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, online research tools, CRM software, and order-management platforms.
- Reliable, responsive, and accountable.
- Experience with CommonSku, ASI, promotional products, branded merchandise, apparel decoration, printing, sales, customer service, account management, or order fulfillment is required.
Required Hours:
Monday through Friday from 9am until 5pm EST
Compensation and Growth
- Base pay of $6 to $8 per hour based on experience
- Additional commission based on an agreed-upon commission structure.
- Substantial earning potential for someone who consistently generates and closes new business.
