JOB OVERVIEW

We need a creative packaging designer to help us develop an engaging and visually appealing box for our new card game.

This is an adult, queer party card game designed for groups of gay men to play together. The game blends icebreakers, questions, pop culture, emotional depth, and dares. There will be 250 cards across 7 categories. Each category will have a different color/design but the cards in the same category can all look the same. Each card will have a different question on it. People will pull a card from the middle and answer the question. Each person will also have one card they can use to pass a question. The rules will be minimal and simple.

This is a real product moving toward manufacturing, not a concept project.

Key Deliverables

Logo / Wordmark
- Clean, confident, and bold
- Should work on packaging, cards, and social media

Card Design System
- Poker-size cards (2.5” × 3.5”)
- A reusable layout that works across multiple decks
- Each deck has a different color theme but the same structure
- Clear category title + readable body text
- Designed for full-bleed color printing

Box Packaging
- Design for a small rigid box. I'll attach an example of the box.
- Front, back, and sides
- Strong shelf presence and clear explanation of what the game is
- Fun, sexy, and playful

Instruction Sheet
- One-page, double-sided folded insert
- Easy to understand, visually engaging
- Matches the card and box aesthetic

Production-Ready Files
- Print-ready PDFs. I'll attach the manufacturers template for the box and cards.
- CMYK color mode
- Bleed and crop marks included
- Box dielines
- Files ready to hand directly to a manufacturer

What I’ll Provide
- Finalized card text for all decks
- Game rules and mechanics
