Description:
We are an Australian accounting and plan management company looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Virtual Assistant to join our team long-term.
This role combines basic bookkeeping, client communication, and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
???? Bookkeeping:
Perform bank reconciliations in Xero
Assist with BAS preparation (data entry only)
Maintain accurate financial records
Assist with simple bookkeeping tasks
???? Client Communication:
Answer incoming calls (tax & other enquiries)
Speak clearly and professionally in English
Book appointments and manage calendar
???? Admin:
Respond to
Follow up clients for documents
Update client records
Maintain simple Excel tracking sheets
Requirements:
Good spoken English (clear and confident)
Experience in bookkeeping (Xero preferred)
Experience in customer service or calls is a plus
Basic Microsoft Excel skills (sorting, filtering, simple formulas)
High attention to detail
Reliable internet and quiet workspace
Work Hours:
Part-time to start (can become full-time)
