JOB OVERVIEW

UK Bookkeeper Needed

We are a UK based B2B marketing agency looking for a reliable and experienced bookkeeper to support our ongoing finance operations.

This is not a one off project. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of our day to day bookkeeping and ensure everything is accurate, up to date, and ready for our accountant.

Role responsibilities

Reconcile sales and purchase invoices within FreeAgent
Match bank transactions and ensure correct VAT treatment
Proactively chase outstanding invoices in a professional manner
Maintain clean, accurate, and fully up to date accounts
Prepare a clear and organised handover for our UK accountant

Requirements

Proven experience using FreeAgent
Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and VAT
Experience working with UK based businesses
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Clear communication and ability to work independently
