JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking to hire a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to serve in a Bookkeeper capacity, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, and monthly financial reporting. This role combines strong technical bookkeeping execution with the accounting judgment expected of a CPA.

Required Qualifications
_PH CPA License Holder or CPA Licensure Exam Passer.
_Minimum 5 years of meaningful bookkeeping and accounting experience (US client exposure is a plus, not a requirement — see Preferred Qualifications).
_Working experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO); familiarity with QBO Advanced strongly preferred.
_Familiarity with Stripe and other online payment processors (e.g., PayPal, payment gateway settlement/reconciliation flows).
_Solid grounding in accrual-basis accounting (revenue/expense recognition, adjusting entries, accruals & deferrals).
_Intermediate to advanced Excel skills: lookup functions (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, and Pivot Tables).
_Working knowledge of US GAAP and basic US tax rules as they apply to bookkeeping and reporting.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
_US client / US-based company experience is a plus, but not required — what matters most is the candidate's ability to demonstrate they handled real responsibilities and delivered results, regardless of client base.
_Experience preparing internal reports or data summaries used by a management team for decision-making
_Exposure to other accounting or billing platforms beyond QBO (e.g., Divvy, Deel).
_Experience with revenue reconciliation across multiple payment processors or sales channels.
_Comfortable working across time zones with a US-based team.
_Core Responsibilities / Key Tasks
_Manage QBO–Stripe invoicing workflows.
_Perform QBO transaction categorization.
_Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
_Perform revenue reconciliations.
_Handle monthly invoicing tasks.
_Prepare accrual journal entries.
_Prepare monthly management reports.
_Prepare monthly billings to brands.
