We are a thriving small accounting practice seeking a meticulous and experienced CPA with expertise in QuickBooks Online and Dext to join our team as a full-time Bookkeeper. Our dedication to providing tailored financial services to multiple clients makes this role a vital part of our operation. The role is flexible with regards to timing - however, for training purposes, we will require some availability during Canadian working hours (9am-3pm eastern standard time - 9pm - 3am Philippine time) during the first 4 weeks to facilitate training.
As a Bookkeeper, you will play an essential role in managing the financial aspects of our diverse clientele. Your proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Dext will be instrumental in ensuring accurate bookkeeping, efficient financial reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities include managing the financial records of multiple clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations and general ledger entries using Quickbooks Online and Dext.
Applicants for this role must have an accounting background, including a CPA designation with at least 1 year of relevant experience. They should have an exceptional attention to detail, accuracy and organizations skills. Strong communication skills, both oral and written in English will be required in this. Specific skills required include a strong proficiency in Quickbooks Online and Dext, mid-level skills in Microsoft Excel, general computer skills using Microsoft Office, along with a thorough understanding of accounting principles. Work experience in Canadian accounting would be of great benefit.
