JOB OVERVIEW

Looking for a part-time Bookkeeper Assistant with the potential to go full time. We are an accounting firm that works with English speakers. Having a mastery of the English language is a requirement and will be tested prior to hiring.

A Bookkeeper Assistant will assist in administrative or clerical duties. This may include answer phones, make appointments, file paperwork, perform data entry, verify source documents, resolve discrepancies, initial number crunching on AP and AR and any other tasks that contribute to the function of the accounting department. Ensuring the accounting department runs smoothly and efficiently.

We would start with relatively limited hours (I anticipate around 25 hours per week to begin) with the opportunity for it to grow as our relationship develops.

Compensation: Based on experience.
• Accounting or Business education and experience preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of accounting procedures and principles
• Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
• Computer literacy and strong typing skills, experience with accounting software required.
• Attention to detail
