We are looking for a detail-oriented E-commerce Bookkeeper to manage our global financial records. As a brand selling worldwide, our finances involve high transaction volumes, multiple sales channels, and various international tax requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring our books are "investor-ready" and that every dollar (or euro, or yen) is accounted for.
Multi-Channel Reconciliation: Reconcile daily payouts from Shopify, Amazon, PayPal, Stripe, and other payment gateways against bank statements.
Global Tax Compliance: Track sales thresholds for Nexus (US), VAT (UK/EU), and GST (AU/CA) to ensure we are registered and filing in the correct jurisdictions.
Inventory Accounting: Work with our COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) to ensure accurate inventory valuation and gross profit reporting.
Currency Management: Manage multi-currency accounts and account for foreign exchange (FX) gains and losses.
Accounts Payable: Manage vendor payments, including manufacturing deposits and freight forwarding invoices.
Monthly Reporting: Prepare monthly P&L statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports that highlight performance by region or channel.
Required Skills & Experience
Platform Expertise: Mastery of QuickBooks Online or Xero is a must.
Must be fluent in English and an expert in Xero
Tech Savvy: Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables are your best friends) and comfortable learning new SaaS tools quickly.
International Knowledge: Understanding of landed costs, duties, and international shipping financial workflows.
Independence: Since this is a part-time remote role, you must be a self-starter who hits deadlines without constant hand-holding.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience working with 7- or 8-figure e-commerce brands.
