Start: Immediate placement for the right person.
We sell tickets for museums, trains and attractions. Our day runs on a live inbox and a booking queue that never stops moving. We need a remote assistant who can work inside that rhythm — fast, accurate, and without needing to be chased.
THE REALITY OF THIS JOB
You will be handling **orders,
Speed matters, but so does accuracy: a wrong date or a wrong ticket type means a customer standing outside a museum with an invalid reservation.
SCHEDULE — READ THIS BEFORE APPLYING
All hours below are GMT-5 (the same clock as Bogotá or Panama City):
- **Monday–Wednesday:** 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- **Thursday–Friday:** 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Convert this to your own local time before you apply. Please only apply if you can sustain that schedule long term and be fully alert during those hours.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Process ticket reservations across several different supplier platforms and booking portals
- Work the customer inbox daily — clear, correct, well-written replies — plus occasional phone contact
- Handle changes, cancellations, rescheduling and anything that has gone wrong with a reservation
- Keep bookings, confirmations and records organised in Excel and Outlook
- Write and publish travel content (destination guides, attraction tips, practical articles)
- Communicate mainly in English; some written Spanish and Portuguese, with Google Translate and ChatGPT as support tools
WHAT WE ACTUALLY NEED FROM YOU
- **Hands-on ticket reservation experience across multiple platforms** — this is our strongest preference. Tell us which systems you have used.
- **Excellent command of the computer**: Outlook, Excel and Microsoft Office at a confident, everyday-use level, not "basic knowledge"
- The ability to pick up a new tool or website by yourself, in a day, without step-by-step training
- Strong written and spoken English
- Experience with a support desk such as Zendesk is a plus
- Self-management: you plan your own day, track your own open cases and follow up without reminders
HOME OFFICE REQUIREMENTS
- Your own reliable computer (not a phone or tablet) able to run Office and several browser tabs and portals at once
- Stable internet with a backup connection, plus a plan for power interruptions
- A quiet space for calls and a working headset
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF
- You are slow switching between orders,
- Outlook and Excel are not tools you already use comfortably every day
- You need supervision to stay organised
- You cannot commit to the overnight schedule above
HOW TO APPLY
Send your application with short answers to these three questions. Applications without them will not be reviewed:
1. Which ticket booking platforms or supplier portals have you worked with?
2. Describe a shift where you had a full inbox and multiple bookings at once — how did you organise it?
3. On a scale of 1–10, rate your Excel and Outlook level and give one example of what you do with each.
We would like to hear from you.
Thanks
James
