JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a freelance video editor who can source police bodycam footage and create engaging 10–15 minute YouTube videos with thumbnails.

Payment: C$15 per completed video, including footage sourcing, editing, one thumbnail, and one round of revisions. Payment through PayPal after delivery and review against the agreed requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Find interesting bodycam footage and provide source links and documentation supporting its reuse on YouTube.
- Take creative ownership of story selection, editing, and pacing to create compelling videos while preserving accurate context.
- Add original, fact-checked on-screen explanations, relevant captions, audio cleanup, and appropriate blurring/censoring.
- Create an eye-catching thumbnail that accurately represents the video.
- Deliver the finished video in 1080p where the source allows, the thumbnail, and editable project files. Submit completed work through Trello for review.

Voiceover recording is not required, but you should be comfortable incorporating supplied narration if provided. Any footage acquisition costs require prior approval.
