JOB OVERVIEW

We are a physician-owned psychiatry practice in California, hiring a dedicated billing and revenue cycle VA. This is a direct, full-time, long-term role with a stable practice, not an agency pool position. You will work directly with our practice's Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities: claim submission and follow-up for a major EAP payer, prior authorization submission and tracking, insurance eligibility verification, patient copay and balance follow-up, no-show fee processing, payment posting and reconciliation, weekly accounts receivable worklists, payer enrollment support, and a short structured end-of-day report (done, pending, priorities for tomorrow). As our practice grows, this role will take on primary claim submission across our insurance contracts, we are looking for someone who wants to grow into owning our full revenue cycle.

Requirements: at least 2 years of US healthcare billing or revenue cycle experience, excellent written and spoken English, experience working inside a US EHR (Charm Health a plus), comfort adapting to non-standard payer portals and workflows, a private home workspace, reliable fiber internet with backup, and willingness to complete an NBI clearance and provide two references from US clients or employers. HIPAA training is required before your first login; we provide the course.

Schedule: 40 hours per week, US Pacific morning overlap required. During your scheduled hours, you work only for us.

Rate: $6.00 to $6.50 USD per hour depending on experience, paid via Wise, with 13th month pay and a 90-day performance review with a raise path.
