???? Billing & Payments Specialist
We’re looking for a Billing & Payments Specialist to oversee the financial operations of our subscription-based business. With recurring revenue at our core, you’ll ensure smooth billing cycles, handle invoicing, resolve failed payments, and manage chargebacks/disputes. This role is essential to keeping our cash flow healthy and our customers supported.
???? What You’ll Do
Recurring billing management: Monitor subscription payments, track failed transactions, and ensure issues are resolved quickly.
Invoicing: Create, send, and track invoices with accuracy and timeliness.
Chargebacks & disputes: Proactively manage chargebacks, gather documentation, and submit dispute responses to payment processors.
Customer support on payments: Communicate professionally with customers about billing issues, failed payments, and disputes.
Financial tracking: Maintain records, and support reporting on revenue, outstanding invoices, and payment trends.
Process improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline billing and dispute workflows.
???? What We’re Looking For
Experience with billing systems (e.g., Stripe, PayPal, Thrivecart).
Strong understanding of chargebacks, disputes, and payment compliance.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional, clear communicator — especially when dealing with sensitive billing issues.
Comfort with recurring revenue/subscription models.
Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems.
