JOB OVERVIEW

Hello there!

We are looking for a podcast editor for full episodes of The Dancing With Dementia and Caregivers Rising Podcast!

We use Descript, primarily, although we are open to other tools, as long as we are able to EASILY review what has been edited out.

We'd like to also explore video editing, as we MIGHT put the podcast up on YouTube!

This would also entail going into past episodes & inserting dynamic adds for current updates and launches, and possibly creating some reels to promote the Caregivers Rising Community Circle, using last Season's episodes, while staying ahead of this season!

Also, when AI tools are used, my voice gets cut out- please give me YOUR answer/thoughts, NOT USING AI- when you answer with AI, guess what... ALL applicant's replies are almost identical!

1) Specifically, how would you remove fillers to make sure sound stays level and happy? Again, if you use AI to answer, your answer will be the same as the other applicants that won't get a reply ;).

2) How do you keep episodes with different speaker sound volumes equal, while keeping a raspy voice and laughter intact, removing excess fillers, while keeping it sounding GREAT, NOT skipping around like a broken record?

3) What is your turn-around, for a 120-minute raw recording, that will become 2 episodes, including editing, inserting intros/outros/music, transcript, etc?

4) The starting pay is $3/hour- please verify this is good for you! I am open to discussing a percentage of income made from the podcast, like 5%, as an additional payment a the end of the Season!

5) What references do you have?

6) I have an episode with RAW intros/outros/etc, that needs some editing and LOVE... This would be an unpaid trial- would you like to trial completing this episode, cleaning it up further, and making it SHINE? It's about 40-60 minutes of content with all the pieces.

7) How often do you use Descript? What tools do you prefer over Descript, or in conjunction with Descript?
