Job Overview:
Custom lighting manufacturer in North America. We’re hiring a skilled Social Media Manager who can plan, create, post, advertise, and report across platforms — with a strong focus on LinkedIn for B2B lead generation.
This is a hands-on execution role: no fluff, no “idea people” — we need someone who can run our full social media machine and help generate real visibility, engagement, and opportunities.
Your Responsibilities:
• Create + schedule posts (LinkedIn, Instagram,
• Write captions and design posts using Canva or similar tools
• Launch and optimize LinkedIn Ads campaigns (targeting architects, designers, agencies)
• Manage
• Run paid campaigns on
• Respond to comments and DMs with a professional voice
• Monitor performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports (engagement, reach, CTR, ad cost, top content, etc.)
• Repurpose existing content (e.g. blog posts, case studies, product images) into shareable social media posts
• Suggest new content ideas for thought leadership or specifier engagement
• Help grow and manage founder’s personal LinkedIn visibility (resharing content, commenting, tagging)
Tools You’ll Use:
• Canva (or Adobe Photoshop)
• Meta Ads Manager + LinkedIn Campaign Manager
• Buffer / Later / Hootsuite (or native scheduling tools)
• ChatGPT (for writing assistance and repurposing)
• Google Sheets / Docs (for planning + reporting)
• Monday & HubSpot
You Should Have Experience With:
• Running B2B LinkedIn Ads (awareness, traffic, and lead generation campaigns)
• Creating clean, modern content (static posts, short-form video, carousel, before/after images, etc.)
• Reporting results clearly: what worked, what didn’t, and what’s next
• Working with niche products or manufacturing brands is a bonus
• Understanding how to engage architects, designers, reps, or agency buyers is a major plus
Weekly Hours:
20–40 hours/week
Long-term position with consistent work
Starting Rate:
$8–$15 USD/hour or more (based on experience)
Bonus if You Have:
• Experience in lighting, architecture, or interior design markets
• B2B content writing or ghostwriting experience
• Video editing (short-form for Reels/LinkedIn)
• SEO or blog publishing skills
