Permit expediting and contractor support company seeking qualified B2B Sales Rep. We help general contractors get their building permits (both main and sub) pulled and approved faster, and we handle the administrative and can also handle project management work that goes with running a construction business: proposals, invoicing, scheduling, compliance tracking, and more.
We're looking for a self-directed sales rep to find and close new general contractor clients for us. This is a full sales-cycle role: you'll prospect GCs, get interested ones to complete our intake form, draft a proposal for my review, then present and close it. You won't be doing the permitting or admin work yourself just bringing in the clients.
Responsibilities:
Prospect general contractors in the U.S. (cold call, cold
Learn our service catalog well enough to explain it clearly and answer basic questions about what we handle
Qualify each GC — how many active jobs, which jurisdictions, current permitting pain points
Get qualified prospects to complete our client intake form
Draft a custom proposal based on their intake responses and send it to me for review and approval before it goes to the prospect
Present the approved proposal and close the signed agreement
Keep a CRM/pipeline log so nothing falls through the cracks
Hand off closed clients to our team with the completed intake form and a clear summary of what was agreed to
Qualifications:
2+ years of B2B sales, appointment setting, or account executive experience selling services (not physical products)
Excellent written and spoken English, including writing clear, professional client-facing proposals
Comfortable and confident doing outbound outreach (cold calls, cold
Experience using a CRM (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Close, or similar)
Able to work U.S. business hours (Eastern time preferred)
Experience selling to contractors, in construction, real estate, or home services
