JOB OVERVIEW

We are Planir, an FP&A software platform for mid-market finance teams. We help CFOs, Finance Controllers, and FP&A leaders improve reporting, budgeting, forecasting, board packs, investor reporting, Excel-heavy workflows, and multi-entity consolidation.

We are looking for a strong B2B content writer to help create content for both Jay’s personal founder brand and the Planir company brand. Jay is the founder of Planir. His personal content is meant to position him as a founder and thought leader in the FP&A and finance transformation space. Planir’s company content is focused on brand awareness, product education, and credibility.

Your main role will be to turn founder input and Planir materials into clear, specific content for a B2B audience. You may work from voice notes, product demos, screenshots, sales materials, website content, customer pain points, and founder opinions. The output will mainly include LinkedIn posts, carousel copy, and occasional short newsletter or blog drafts.

We are looking for someone who can write naturally, understand technical B2B topics, adapt to a founder’s voice, and avoid generic AI-generated content. The writing should feel grounded, useful, and relevant to finance leaders. Experience with B2B SaaS, finance, accounting, or founder-led content is a strong advantage. We will start with a paid trial.
