About This Opportunity
I am posting this position and conducting the initial interviews on behalf of one of my clients.
My client owns an established carpet cleaning and restoration company serving San Diego County, California. I am helping them find the right person for this long-term position.
The company name and complete business details will be shared with serious shortlisted candidates at the appropriate stage of the interview process.
The company already has a strong residential customer base. Its next goal is to grow the commercial side of the business by building relationships with property management companies, apartment communities, multifamily properties, and other properties with multiple units.
Work Schedule
Full-time, long-term position
Monday through Friday
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. California Pacific Time
One-hour unpaid meal break each workday
40 paid hours per week
This is an overnight schedule in the Philippines.
Depending on daylight saving time in California, the Philippine schedule will generally be:
11:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., or
12:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
The position always follows California business hours, so the Philippine schedule will change by one hour when California enters or leaves daylight saving time.

Compensation
Starting pay: $5 USD per hour
Approximately $867 USD per month based on 40 paid hours per week

We want to be transparent about the starting pay and schedule.
In addition to the hourly wage, the selected candidate will have opportunities to earn bonuses when clearly defined performance milestones are reached.
Bonus opportunities may include:
Scheduling qualified appointments that take place
Generating qualified commercial opportunities
Helping the company acquire new commercial accounts
Reaching agreed-upon outreach or conversion goals
The exact bonus amounts and requirements will be explained before work begins. Quality matters more than simply making a large number of calls.
Primary Responsibilities
Make outbound calls to apartment communities, multifamily properties, and property management companies
Focus on commercial properties with multiple units and repeat-service potential
Professionally introduce the company’s carpet cleaning and restoration services
Identify property managers, regional managers, maintenance supervisors, and other decision-makers
Speak professionally with receptionists, gatekeepers, property staff, and decision-makers
Ask qualifying questions about each property and its cleaning or restoration needs
Learn approximately how many units or properties a prospect manages when appropriate
Determine whether the property currently uses a carpet cleaning or restoration provider
Follow up with prospects by phone and
Email
Schedule qualified callbacks, estimates, meetings, or appointments for the owner
Build professional relationships with property management contacts
Follow approved scripts and
This is not a high-pressure residential sales position. The goal is to develop real commercial relationships that may require several calls and follow-ups.
Lead Tracking and Follow-Up
The selected candidate will receive access to a company-provided Google Sheet containing leads.
You will be responsible for accurately tracking:
Every call attempt
Call dates and times
The person contacted
Call outcomes and conversation notes
Decision-maker contact information
Property and unit information when available
PDFs and price sheets sent
Follow-up dates and next steps
Appointments and callbacks
Wrong or disconnected numbers
Prospects who are not interested
Do Not Call requests
Accurate notes and consistent follow-up are essential parts of this position.
Calling Compliance
The selected candidate will be required to install and use the company-approved calling and compliance applications.
You must:
Confirm that numbers are eligible before calling
Never call a number blocked by the system
Immediately document and respect Do Not Call requests
Follow all company calling procedures and required disclosures
Never disable or bypass a calling restriction
Training will be provided on the company’s systems and procedures.
Recorded Calls and Coaching
Outbound calls may be recorded through the company’s approved calling system in accordance with applicable disclosure and consent requirements.
The owner will regularly review calls for:
Professionalism
Communication quality
Accuracy
Script adherence
Proper treatment of prospects
Qualification skills
Call documentation
Overall improvement
You must be comfortable receiving constructive feedback and applying that coaching to future calls.
Communication Requirements
Fluent spoken and written English
Clear and easily understood pronunciation
Professional, friendly, and natural phone presence
Comfortable speaking with U.S.-based business prospects
Strong listening and relationship-building skills
Able to follow a script without sounding like you are reading it
Able to write clear and professional follow-up
Persistent without being aggressive or pushy
Comfortable handling objections and rejection professionally
Candidates will be evaluated based on communication clarity, professionalism, experience, reliability, and ability to perform the role.
Experience and Technical Requirements
Previous cold-calling, appointment-setting, telemarketing, or outbound sales experience
Experience calling businesses in the United States
Commercial or B2B outreach experience is strongly preferred
Comfortable speaking with gatekeepers and asking for decision-makers
Strong organization and follow-up skills
Experience using Google Sheets
Willing to install the required calling and compliance applications
Reliable computer and high-speed internet connection
Quiet and professional overnight calling environment
Reliable headset with clear audio
Experience using a CRM or calling platform is preferred
Experience with property management, multifamily housing, commercial cleaning, restoration, or home services is a strong advantage
