JOB OVERVIEW

We are an established Australian electrical and solar company looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Accountant with strong Simpro experience.

This is a long-term position for the right person.

Key responsibilities:

* Daily bookkeeping and account reconciliation
* Accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Supplier invoice processing and reconciliation
* Customer payments and debtor management
* Bank and credit card reconciliation
* Simpro set up
* Job costing and profitability reporting
* Purchase orders and supplier accounts
* Payroll assistance
* Preparing financial reports for management
* Working with our Australian accountant
* Identifying accounting discrepancies and improving our financial processes

Essential requirements:

* Strong previous experience using Simpro
* Experience working with an Australian business
* Strong bookkeeping/accounting experience
* Excellent Excel skills
* High attention to detail
* Excellent written and spoken English
* Reliable internet and professional home-office setup
