JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for an Assistant Media Buyer to support the planning, execution, and optimisation of paid media campaigns across performance channels — primarily Meta (Facebook/Instagram). This role is ideal for someone who has managed daily budgets exceeding $20,000 who is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn how to scale profitable advertising in an e-commerce environment.

You’ll work closely with the Media Buyer to manage campaigns, analyse performance, test creatives, and ensure data is accurate and actionable.

Key responsibilities
- Campaign execution & management
- Assist in setting up, launching, and monitoring paid media campaigns (primarily Meta)
- Support campaign builds across audiences, creatives, and offers
- Ensure naming conventions, tracking, and account hygiene are followed consistently
- Make basic optimisations under guidance (budget shifts, pausing underperformers, etc.)

Reporting & analysis
- Pull and maintain daily/weekly performance reports
- Analyse performance by product, audience, creative, and funnel stage
- Help identify trends, opportunities, and inefficiencies
- Support attribution analysis using tools like Northbeam / GA / platform data

Creative & testing support
- Track creative performance and testing results
- Coordinate with creative teams to brief new ads based on performance insights
- Maintain creative testing logs and learning documentation

Data & tracking support
- Assist with QA of tracking (UTMs, events, attribution windows)
- Flag discrepancies between platforms (Meta vs attribution tools)
- Help ensure data accuracy across reporting systems

General support
- Prepare insights and summaries for internal meetings
- Assist with documentation, SOPs, and experimentation frameworks
- Support ad hoc projects related to growth and performance marketing

What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of Meta experience
- Experience managing daily budgets exceeding $20,000 USD
- Experience with cost controls
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and data
- Ability to follow processes while learning how to optimise
- Clear written communication skills
- Experience in Northbeam
