Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Account Manager to join our team as an Independent Contractor. In this remote, work-from-home role, you will provide essential administrative and sales support to our Account Managers, assisting with customer interactions, lead management, and operational tasks. This position offers a pathway to growth, with the opportunity to transition into an Account Manager role after 6-12 months, where you can begin earning commission. As an independent contractor, you will have autonomy in managing your work methods and schedule, while ensuring high-speed internet connectivity to support remote operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to Account Managers, including generating quotes, processing orders, taking inbound calls, making outbound calls, customer support.
Assist with sales activities such as handling inbound inquiries, qualifying leads, and following up on customer communications.
Support outbound efforts by researching prospects, updating CRM systems, and coordinating with the sales team.
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and gross profit calculations.
Ensure confidentiality of company information, including customer lists, pricing, and trade secrets.
Manage your own tools, resources, and environment for remote work, without direct supervision or company-provided equipment.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience in administrative support, sales assistance, or customer service, preferably in industrial or manufacturing sectors.
Strong organizational skills with proficiency in tools like CRM software, Microsoft Office, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with tea
Ability to work independently with full control over methods and execution.
Reliable high-speed internet: Minimum 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speeds.
Willingness to obtain appropriate insurance coverage, including liability, and provide proof as needed.
No requirement for on-site presence; services can be delegated to assistants if desired.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive base compensation (details provided upon offer).
No commission during the initial 6-12 months in the Assistant Account Manager role.
Promotion Pathway: After serving as an Assistant Account Manager, transition to Account Manager with eligibility for 5% commission on gross profit (gross profit defined as cost of goods sold and freight subtracted from sales price and freight).
Additional bonuses may apply based on performance metrics once promoted.

Certain Expenses are reimbursed and pre-approved in writing.
As an independent contractor, you are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and business expenses.
Contract Terms
This is a non-exclusive, at-will independent contractor position with an indefinite term.
Terminable by either party with 7 days' written notice.
Governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
