JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technician to research and implement cutting-edge AI technologies across all facets of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in AI/ML models, data processing, and automation. This role requires expertise in integrating AI-driven solutions to enhance operations, improve efficiency, and drive innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies to identify opportunities for business-wide implementation.
Deploy AI models and automation tools to improve processes across different departments.
Integrate and optimize tools like Vic.ai for invoice automation, Dext for receipt management, Fathom or Jirav for cash flow forecasting, and 7shifts for labor optimization.
Ensure POS and accounting systems (e.g., Lavu and Restaurant365) are synced using tools like Zapier, Make, or Omnivore.
Implement and maintain internal AI dashboards using Power BI or Looker Studio for insights into financials, labor metrics, and operational performance.
Streamline bank transaction imports into Restaurant365.
Implement reconciliation tools like AutoRek or BlackLine and explore smart bookkeeping assistants such as Botkeeper or Zeni.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI systems for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business operations, customer support, marketing, finance, and other applicable areas.
Ensure AI solutions align with industry standards, ethical guidelines, and business objectives.
Provide technical support, training, and documentation for AI applications across teams.
Stay updated with the latest AI trends, tools, and best practices to drive continuous innovation.




Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong understanding of machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision.
Experience with AI frameworks
Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
