JOB OVERVIEW

Position Summary:
Our company is seeking a Remote Architectural Drafter to support our construction and design teams by preparing detailed drawings and plans based on project specifications. This role will work closely with project managers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of construction documents while collaborating effectively in a fully remote environment.
This is a full-time position, consisting of 40 hours per week, with standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (U.S. time), including a one-hour break.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, and construction documents using software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar.
• Interpret sketches, specifications, and design concepts from architects and engineers
• Revise drawings based on feedback, RFIs, and project changes
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and field teams to align plans with execution
• Maintain organized drawing logs and document control
• Assist with submittals, permit drawings, and as-built documentation
• Create 3D visuals or renderings for client presentations
• Support design-build projects with layout optimization

Qualifications:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or related field
• 2+ years of drafting experience (construction/landscape/civil preferred)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and/or similar design software
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and terminology
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
