JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time Architectural CAD Drafter – California Residential

We are a California design-build company looking for an experienced part-time Architectural CAD Drafter to join our planning and design team.

Responsibilities
Residential drafting in AutoCAD
Floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, and construction details
ADUs, additions, remodels, and new construction
Update plans based on architect, engineer, and city comments
Assist with complete permit-ready drawing sets
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience drafting residential projects in California
Strong knowledge of California building codes and local requirements
Strong AutoCAD skills
Experience preparing plans for California permits
Understanding of residential construction
Fast, accurate, organized, and detail-oriented
Good English and communication skills
3D modeling/rendering experience is a bonus
