Architectural Designer / Architectural Assistant (Full-Time, Remote)

A Sydney-based residential design and architectural coordination studio specialising in architectural documentation, council approvals, and interior working drawings for Australian residential projects.

Job Overview
We are looking for a full-time Architectural Designer / Architectural Assistant to join our remote team immediately. This role suits a detail-oriented professional with strong architectural documentation skills and solid Revit experience.
You will work closely with the Director and design team on Australian residential projects, supporting architectural layouts, approval drawings, and detailed construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities
Architectural & Design Documentation
Prepare architectural layouts and space planning
Develop architectural elevations
Produce full sets of architectural drawings, including:
Floor plans
Elevations
Sections
Schedules (where required)
Council & Consultant Coordination
Assist with documentation for council / certifier approvals
Coordinate drawing revisions and updates
Work collaboratively with internal tea ---------- mbers and consultants
Working Drawings & Interior Documentation
Prepare working drawings
Develop interior elevations and detailed drawings where required
Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready

Working Hours
Monday to Friday
8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (AEST)
Full-time, remote role

Time Tracking & Overtime
All working hours must be tracked using Clockify
Mandatory clock in / clock out
Time must be allocated per project
Timesheets require approval before payment

Overtime requires prior approval
If overtime is requested, availability is expected based on company needs

Mandatory Requirements
Strong Revit experience (mandatory)
Experience producing architectural drawings and documentation
Ability to deliver accurate, well-organised drawing sets
Excellent time management and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Reliable internet connection and workstation
Willingness to follow systems and track time accurately

Preferred (Nice to Have)
Experience with Australian residential projects
Familiarity with council / certifier approval processes
Experience with interior elevations and detailing

Proof of resignation from current employment may be requested
