This is a long-term position, not a short-term gig. We want someone who will grow with us. You'll
work side by side with the agency owner every day, learning how the business runs and taking on
more responsibility over time. The right person can grow into a bigger role as the agency grows.
Please read this first: This role requires near-native, fluent English. You will speak with American
prospects all day, and they must feel like they're talking to a confident, natural English speaker. If your
spoken English is not at a very high level, this position is not the right fit.
We also need someone who thinks for themselves. We are not looking for someone who waits to be
told every step. We want someone who spots what needs to be done, creates their own tasks, and
finds better ways to get results.
What You'll Do
Appointment Setting (main focus)
• Make 500–600 outbound dials per day to leads we provide, using both a power dialer and manual
dialing
• Have natural, confident conversations with US prospects and book qualified appointments onto our
agents' calendars
• Handle objections smoothly and adapt the script to each conversation, without sounding robotic or
rehearsed
• Follow up with no-shows, callbacks, and unconfirmed appointments
• Confirm upcoming appointments by call and text
Appointment and Show Tracking
• Track every booked appointment and whether the prospect showed up or no-showed
• Keep accurate records of call outcomes, appointments set, shows, and no-shows in Google Sheets
and our CRM
• Reach out to no-shows quickly to reschedule
• Send an end-of-day report: dials, contacts, appointments set, shows, no-shows, and notes
Virtual Assistant and Insurance Support
• Help with admin tasks: calendar management, data entry, follow-up
• Support our agents with paperwork prep, client follow-ups, and other life insurance back-office tasks
as needed
Initiative and Problem-Solving
• Take ownership of your work. When something is slow, broken, or could be done better, notice it and
suggest or build a fix.
• Create your own task lists and priorities when your main work is done, instead of waiting for
instructions
• Look for ways to improve contact rates, show rates, and tracking (for example, better call times,
smarter follow-up sequences, cleaner sheet layouts)
• Bring new ideas to the team and test them
Requirements
• Near-native, fluent English, spoken and written. This is non-negotiable.
– You speak clearly, naturally, and confidently, with a neutral accent that US prospects understand
easily
– You can hold an unscripted conversation, use natural phrasing, and respond quickly to
unexpected questions
– Your written messages, texts, and
• Self-starter who thinks outside the box. You can work independently, solve problems without
step-by-step guidance, and create tasks for yourself to move the business forward.
• Comfortable making 500–600 dials per day and handling rejection without losing energy
• Proficient in Google Sheets (sorting, filtering, basic formulas, keeping data clean)
• Able to work on Zoom, camera on, for the full 10-hour shift every working day
• Available Sunday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM US Eastern Time. This is about 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Philippine time, an overnight shift.
• Reliable, fast internet (at least 25 Mbps), a backup internet source, and a backup power source
• Quiet, professional work environment and a noise-cancelling headset
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow processes exactly
Nice to Have
• Previous appointment setting, cold calling, or call center experience (US clients preferred)
• Experience in life insurance, final expense, mortgage protection, or other insurance sales support

similar), and Calendly
Schedule and Pay

• Sunday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM US Eastern Time (about 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM Philippine time).
Saturday is off.
• Optional Saturday hours are available if you want to earn more
• Long-term, stable, full-time position with real room to grow into a bigger role as the agency grows
• Work side by side with the owner every day, with direct mentorship and feedback
How to Apply
Applications without all of the items below will not be reviewed.
1. A 1–2 minute video introduction in English. Speak naturally; don't read from a script. Tell us:
– About yourself and your calling or appointment setting experience
– One example of a time you saw a problem at work and created a solution or new process
on your own, without being asked
2. A mock cold-call audio recording. Read the script below out loud as if you're talking to a real
person. Then, in your own words, show how you'd respond if the prospect said, “I'm not interested, I
already have insurance.”
“Hi, is this John? Hey John, this is [your name] calling from The Good Life Insurance Group. I'm
following up on the request you made about life insurance options for your family. I'm just the
scheduler, so I won't take much of your time. I'd like to set up a quick call with one of our licensed
agents who can go over your options. Would later today or tomorrow work better for you?”
3. Your internet speed test screenshot and your current availability.
We're excited to hear from you!
