JOB OVERVIEW

Job Summary:
We are hiring an Appointment Setter to handle the first stage of our sales outreach to laboratories and healthcare providers. You will call prospects, spark their interest, and secure meetings on the founder's calendar. We want someone who is comfortable on the phone, competitive by nature, and focused on measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Call laboratories, doctors, and other healthcare providers using lead lists we provide
- Explain our products and services in a clear and professional way during first conversations
- Qualify prospects and schedule meetings directly on the founder's calendar
- Respond to objections and follow up with prospects who need more time
- Record call outcomes, notes, and next steps in Excel and the CRM
- Track your own numbers, including calls made and meetings booked per call
- Give feedback on what is working and suggest improvements to booking rates
- Collaborate with the founder to sharpen scripts and messaging

Mandatory Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in cold calling or appointment setting with proven booked meetings
- Excellent spoken English and a confident, professional phone manner
- Strong sales skills, including handling objections
- Comfortable being measured by KPIs such as meetings booked per call
- Good working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets and calendar tools
- CRM experience, or the ability to learn one fast
- Persistent and positive, even when prospects say no
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the medical, healthcare, biotech, or laboratory field
- Background in B2B outreach to doctors, clinics, or other professionals
- Quick at learning technical products and explaining them with confidence
- Comfortable following a call script while sounding natural
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
