JOB OVERVIEW

Position Summary

ShieldPoint IT LLC is seeking a motivated commission-based Lead Generator and Appointment Setter to help expand our client base among small and growing businesses. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with outbound sales, prospecting, and initiating conversations with business owners and decision-makers.

The primary responsibility will be to identify qualified prospects, communicate the value of ShieldPoint IT’s managed IT and cybersecurity services, uncover business pain points, and schedule qualified appointments for the sales process.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should:

Have experience in lead generation, cold calling, appointment setting, or B2B sales.
Be confident speaking with business owners and decision-makers.
Know how to identify and sell to customer pain points rather than simply listing services.
Be able to communicate the business value of managed IT and cybersecurity solutions.
Be comfortable following an established sales script while adapting naturally to each prospect.
Be persistent, professional, organized, and results-oriented.
Understand that the goal of the initial conversation is to create interest, qualify the prospect, and secure a meeting, not necessarily close the entire sale.
Key Selling Points

The Lead Generator should be able to position ShieldPoint IT around common business concerns such as:

Unexpected IT problems and downtime
Cybersecurity threats and data breaches
Lack of reliable internal IT support
Slow response times when technical issues occur
Rising and unpredictable technology costs
Lack of proactive monitoring and maintenance
The need to protect business operations while allowing employees to work efficiently

ShieldPoint IT has a sales script prepared for the successful candidate. The right person should be able to use the script effectively while having the communication skills to uncover a prospect’s specific challenges and explain how ShieldPoint IT can help.

Primary Objective

The primary objective of this role is to generate qualified leads and schedule appointments with businesses that could benefit from managed IT and cybersecurity services, creating a consistent pipeline of opportunities for ShieldPoint IT LLC.
