JOB OVERVIEW

Responsibilities

Design and build Apple Motion templates (.motn, .moti, .moef, .motg) ready for Final Cut Pro
Publish editable parameters (text, colors, logos) so editors can customize without touching Motion
Deliver organized template libraries with clear naming conventions
Maintain consistent on-brand typography, color palette, and motion style across all assets
Revise templates based on editor feedback with quick turnaround
Optimize assets for smooth playback on Apple Silicon Macs
Provide brief usage notes or a short Loom walkthrough for each template batch


Requirements

3+ years of professional experience with Apple Motion 5.x
Deep familiarity with Final Cut Pro and how Motion templates integrate into the FCP browser
Strong command of Motion's publish parameters, rigs, and behaviors
Experience with kinetic typography, particle effects, and replicators
A strong eye for sports broadcast design — you understand pace, energy, and on-screen hierarchy
Ability to match and extend an existing brand style guide
Reliable Mac setup running a current version of macOS
Ability to meet deadlines (e.g. same-week turnaround for game-day templates)
Portfolio or reel showing Apple Motion and FCP template work — required with application
