We are a U.S.-based consumer products company looking for an experienced Order Management & EDI Specialist with hands-on Amazon Vendor Central and NetSuite experience.
Amazon Vendor Central experience is especially important for this position. However, this is not an Amazon-only role. You will be responsible for managing and monitoring EDI orders from Amazon as well as other major U.S. retailers and distributors.
Your primary responsibility will be making sure customer orders move correctly from PO receipt → acknowledgment → fulfillment → shipment → invoicing → completion, and identifying problems before they result in missed ship windows, cancellations, shortages, chargebacks, or customer service issues.
What You'll Do
- Manage and monitor incoming EDI purchase orders from Amazon and other major customers
- Take ownership of orders from receipt through shipment and invoicing
- Monitor Amazon Vendor Central POs, ship windows, cancel dates, shortages, backorders, and order changes
- Review incoming EDI orders and confirm they are correctly created in NetSuite
- Work with EDI documents including 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, and 860
- Review and manage Sales Orders, Item Fulfillments, and Invoices in NetSuite
- Monitor open orders and proactively identify orders that are late, stuck, partially fulfilled, backordered, cancelled, or otherwise require attention
- Investigate discrepancies between EDI, Amazon Vendor Central, NetSuite, and warehouse/shipping activity
- Identify orders that physically shipped but remain open, uninvoiced, or incomplete in NetSuite
- Coordinate with our warehouse and internal U.S. team to resolve order issues
- Monitor customer-specific ship windows and fulfillment requirements
- Handle order changes, cancellations, shortages, and quantity adjustments
- Assist with EDI-related customer compliance and operational issues
- Maintain reporting on open orders, exceptions, backorders, and unresolved issues
- Help ensure orders are completed correctly and on time
What We're Looking For:
- Hands-on Amazon Vendor Central experience
- Hands-on NetSuite experience
- Experience personally managing customer orders from PO receipt through shipment and invoicing
- Experience working with EDI orders
- Understanding of EDI documents such as 850, 855, 856, 810, 846, and 860
- Experience with NetSuite Sales Orders, Item Fulfillments, Invoices, inventory availability, and backorders
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Clear written English
- Ability to proactively find and solve problems without waiting for someone else to identify them
Experience handling EDI orders for major U.S. retailers and distributors such as Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, Tractor Supply, Ace Hardware, Costco, or similar companies is a strong plus.
Important: Amazon Seller Central alone does not qualify as Amazon Vendor Central experience.
To Apply
Start your application with AMAZON VC NETSUITE and answer the following:
1. How many years have you personally worked in Amazon Vendor Central?
2. What did you personally do inside Vendor Central?
3. Did you personally manage Amazon POs from receipt through acknowledgment, shipment, and invoicing? Briefly explain.
4. How many years have you used NetSuite, and which transactions did you work with?
5. Which other U.S. retailers or distributors have you handled through EDI?
6. Approximately how many EDI orders or POs did you manage in a typical week?
7. Give one example of an order that was stuck, shorted, backordered, cancelled, late, or shipped but not properly invoiced, and explain how you resolved it.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the order flow, identify exceptions, follow through with the appropriate teams, and make sure customer orders are completed correctly.
