JOB OVERVIEW

Australian brand Bright Star Kids is seeking an Amazon Storefront Designer & Product Listing Specialist to design, build, and optimise our Amazon Brand Store from a strategic, customer-centric perspective.

This role goes beyond visual design. We need someone who understands:
- How customers shop and browse on Amazon
- How to structure a Storefront for conversion, clarity, and cross-selling
- Amazon-specific UX constraints, best practices, and performance drivers

You will be responsible for creating a polished, high-performing Amazon Store that supports our listings and elevates our brand presence.

***************** KEY RESPONSIBILITIES *****************
Amazon Storefront Design & Build
- Design and build a custom Amazon Brand Store aligned with Bright Star Kids’ branding
- Create a clear, logical store architecture that makes it easy for customers to find the right labels
- Develop category and sub-category pages for different product types

Amazon UX & Customer Journey Optimisation:
- Design the Storefront with Amazon-specific UX best practices in mind
- Optimise the browsing journey from:
- Entry point ? category pages ? product listings
- Reduce friction and confusion for time-poor parents shopping on Amazon
- Ensure the store works seamlessly on mobile and desktop, with a mobile-first mindset

Visual Merchandising & Brand Presentation
- Create or guide the creation of Amazon-compliant visuals
- Ensure consistent brand messaging, tone, and visual hierarchy
- Translate Bright Star Kids’ off-Amazon brand into an Amazon-native experience

Product Strategy & Cross-Selling:
- Strategically position products to encourage multi-pack purchases; promote bundles and bestsellers; and highlight use cases (school, daycare, sports, home)
- Design comparison sections to help parents choose the right label solution quickly
- Implement logical cross-sell and upsell pathways within the Storefront

Amazon Best Practices & Expert Guidance:
- Advise on what works specifically on Amazon (and what doesn’t)
- Apply advanced Storefront tactics a non-expert may overlook, such as modular page layouts, scroll-depth optimisation and strategic CTA placement within Amazon’s rules
- Ensure full compliance with Amazon Brand Store guidelines

Performance Awareness & Iteration:
- Build the Storefront with performance and scalability in mind
- Understand how Storefront design supports conversion rate, time on page and brand trust
- Make recommendations for future improvements based on Amazon behaviour patterns

- Deep understanding of Amazon customer behaviour and UX
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Store modules and limitations
- Experience working with physical consumer products
- Ability to think strategically about merchandising and conversion
