XP Strategy runs Amazon and marketplace advertising for seven- and eight-figure sellers in the US and internationally, including UK-based Nature's Blends. We handle PPC, creative, catalog, and marketplace expansion across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and TikTok. As an Amazon Ads Verified Partner, we work hands-on in AMC and DSP, and we run advertising in Walmart Connect and Target Plus. The team is small, senior, and fully distributed, and we are growing.
You run the advertising for a portfolio of client brands. You hit each account's ACoS and TACoS targets. The Account Manager sets the goal; you d
What we're looking for
- Experience with AMC is required. DSP experience is a strong plus.
- 3+ years managing Amazon PPC hands-on, ideally at an agency, across several brands at once
- A track record managing five-figure monthly ad spend for seven-figure brands (required)
- Deep command of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display
- Campaign architecture that holds up as an account scales: branded, non-branded, and competitor segmentation with deliberate match types
- Bid and budget discipline against clear ACoS and TACoS targets
- Bulk operations experience
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets, with strong analytical skills
- At home in the Amazon Ads console and in AdLabs (our primary tool), Helium 10, Data Dive, and MixShift, with the judgment to override a tool when the data says otherwise
- Fluent written and spoken English; you can tell an Account Manager or brand owner why ACoS moved and what you are doing about it
- Comfortable running several accounts at once without dropping details, with ClickUp, Asana, or a similar tool in daily use
- Vendor Central, Walmart Connect, and Target retail media are a plus
Responsibilities:
- Campaign build-out. Build campaigns across ad types and match types, structured to our naming conventions and SOPs.
- Bids and budgets. Manage bids and budgets to each account's targets. Keyword harvesting and negations run on a set schedule, and budgets are planned around launches, Prime Day, and Q4 before the traffic arrives.
- Optimization and research. Tune placements and budgets continuously, run keyword, competitor, and market research, and A/B test content for conversion.
- Quality control. Check the accuracy of everything that ships to an account. A misplaced decimal on a bulk upload spends client money.
- Reporting and forecasting. Deliver reporting an Account Manager can put in front of a client, framed in revenue, profitability, and TACoS. Flag performance problems early, and build advertising forecasts clients can plan budget and inventory against.
- Collaboration. Work with Account Managers, creative, and catalog. When ranking or conversion is the actual problem, say so.
- Growth. Track Amazon advertising updates and bring the expansion opportunities you find in the data as concrete recommendations. Keep ClickUp current.
What success looks like after a year:
- Your accounts hold their ACoS and TACoS targets month over month.
- Any account you have touched is structured cleanly enough for someone else to pick up.
- Account Managers trust your numbers without re-checking them, and your analysis shows up in their client calls.
Working terms:
- Fully remote, on a distributed team
- US Eastern hours, 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Paid time off
- Direct access to leadership, with influence over how advertising is run here
- Exposure to seven- and eight-figure brands across Amazon, Walmart and Target
- Pay is commensurate with experience
