About the Role

Tarp Supply Inc. is seeking an experienced, results-driven Amazon Seller Central & PPC Advertising Specialist to manage, optimize, and scale our Amazon business and advertising campaigns.

This is a hands-on position for an individual who has direct experience working inside Amazon Seller Central and managing Amazon PPC advertising for an e-commerce brand.

The ideal candidate understands that successful Amazon advertising is not simply about increasing impressions, clicks, or sales. The goal is to generate profitable revenue, improve organic and paid visibility, control ACOS and TACOS, increase conversion rates, and grow the Amazon channel sustainably.

The successful candidate will take ownership of Amazon advertising performance while working closely with our e-commerce, marketing, sales, inventory, and management teams.

Key Responsibilities
1. Amazon PPC Advertising Management
Create, manage, optimize, and scale Amazon PPC campaigns.
Manage Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns.
Build and optimize automatic and manual campaigns.
Develop keyword, product-targeting, category-targeting, and competitor-targeting strategies.
Conduct extensive Amazon keyword and competitor research.
Identify high-intent, high-converting search terms.
Regularly analyze Amazon Search Term Reports.
Add negative keywords and negative product targets to reduce wasted advertising spend.
Optimize keyword match types, including broad, phrase, and exact match.
Manage bids, placements, budgets, and bidding strategies.
Optimize Top of Search, Product Pages, and other placement opportunities.
Develop branded and non-branded campaign strategies.
Develop competitor-conquesting campaigns when appropriate.
Identify profitable campaigns and scale them responsibly.
Reduce or eliminate spending on underperforming keywords, products, and campaigns.
Monitor campaign performance daily and make data-driven adjustments.
2. Amazon Seller Central Management
Work directly and independently inside Amazon Seller Central.
Monitor account health and identify issues requiring attention.
Manage and optimize product listings.
Review listing suppressions, errors, and other Seller Central issues.
Monitor inventory and coordinate advertising decisions with product availability.
Understand and work with both FBA and FBM operations.
Monitor Buy Box performance and identify potential issues.
Review Amazon business reports and performance data.
Manage variations and parent-child product relationships when necessary.
Assist with Amazon case management and Seller Support issues related to listings and advertising.
Maintain organized records of Seller Central and advertising activities.
3. Listing & Conversion Optimization
Optimize Amazon product titles, bullet points, descriptions, images, search terms, and other listing elements.
Conduct Amazon SEO and keyword research.
Improve keyword indexing and organic search visibility.
Recommend improvements to product images and infographics.
Optimize A+ Content where applicable.
Work with Brand Store and branded content where applicable.
Analyze product detail-page conversion rates.
Identify reasons customers may not be converting after clicking an advertisement.
Conduct appropriate testing of listing content, images, titles, and other elements.
Coordinate advertising strategy with listing optimization to improve overall conversion performance.
4. Keyword & Competitor Research
Conduct ongoing Amazon keyword research.
Identify high-volume and high-purchase-intent keywords.
Analyze competitor listings, pricing, reviews, positioning, and advertising strategies.
Identify keyword gaps and new advertising opportunities.
Analyze competitors appearing in Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands placements.
Identify relevant competitor ASINs for product-targeting campaigns.
Monitor changes in competitive positioning and recommend appropriate actions.
5. Advertising Profitability & Optimization

The Amazon PPC Specialist will be expected to monitor and improve key metrics, including:

Amazon Advertising Sales

6. Campaign Scaling
Identify profitable campaigns, keywords, ASINs, and products that can support additional advertising investment.
Develop strategies for scaling campaigns without allowing ACOS or TACOS to become unprofitable.
Allocate budgets based on performance and business priorities.
Support new-product launches with appropriate PPC strategies.
Develop strategies for established products and best sellers.
Adjust campaigns based on inventory availability and seasonality.
Develop promotional advertising strategies for major Amazon shopping periods and other seasonal opportunities.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an individual who is:

Highly analytical
Data-driven
Results-oriented
Detail-oriented
Proactive
Organized
Accountable
Comfortable working independently
Focused on profitability rather than vanity metrics

The successful candidate should naturally ask questions such as:

Which campaigns are actually profitable?
Which keywords generate the most profitable sales?
Which search terms are wasting our advertising budget?
Which products should receive more advertising investment?
Which campaigns have high ACOS, and why?
Is TACOS improving as organic sales increase?
Which competitor ASINs should we target?
Which products have strong traffic but poor conversion rates?
Are our listings preventing our PPC campaigns from converting?
Are we advertising products that are low on inventory?
How can we increase Amazon sales without sacrificing profitability?
How can PPC help improve organic ranking over time?
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be evaluated primarily based on measurable business outcomes, including:

Amazon advertising revenue
Total Amazon revenue growth
ACOS
TACOS
ROAS
Conversion rate
Advertising-attributed orders
Organic sales growth
PPC sales growth
Advertising efficiency
Reduction in wasted ad spend
Product-level profitability
Keyword ranking improvements
Listing conversion improvements
Efficient management of advertising budgets

Performance will not be judged primarily by impressions, clicks, or traffic.

Candidate Experience Verification

Candidates selected for an interview should be prepared to discuss 2–3 Amazon Seller Central accounts or brands they have personally managed.

We would like candidates to explain:

Approximate monthly Amazon revenue managed
Approximate monthly Amazon advertising spend managed
Number of ASINs/SKUs managed
FBA and/or FBM experience
Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display experience
Typical ACOS and TACOS performance
Examples of campaigns they personally improved
Examples of reducing wasted advertising spend
Examples of scaling Amazon sales while maintaining profitability
Seller Central responsibilities they personally handled
Amazon PPC/analytics software they have used

Candidates should clearly distinguish between work they personally performed and work performed by an agency, manager, or other team members.

Success in This Role

Success means building and managing an Amazon advertising program that produces profitable, sustainable revenue growth.

The goal is not simply to spend more money or generate more clicks. The goal is to use Amazon Seller Central, PPC advertising, listing optimization, keyword strategy, and performance data together to:

Increase profitable sales, improve advertising efficiency, strengthen organic visibility, acquire new customers, and grow Tarp Supply Inc.'s Amazon business over the long term.

If you have strong hands-on Amazon Seller Central and Amazon PPC experience and know how to turn Amazon advertising spend into measurable and profitable sales growth, we would like to hear from you.
