JOB OVERVIEW

We are a growing consumer brand in the DIY / home & garden space (terrarium kits and related products), currently selling across Amazon and major retail platforms.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of Amazon performance, not just manage campaigns.

This is not a typical PPC role.

What This Role Is

You will be responsible for:
• Growing Amazon revenue profitably
• Managing and optimizing Sponsored Products campaigns
• Making decisions that impact ranking, sales velocity, and TACOS
• Identifying opportunities to scale winning products and keywords

You should think like an operator, not a technician.

What This Role Is NOT
• This is not just “optimize campaigns weekly”
• This is not reporting metrics without insight
• This is not a passive role where you wait for direction

Responsibilities
• Own PPC performance across all ASINs
• Manage and optimize Sponsored Products campaigns (core focus)
• Build and maintain campaign structure (match types, segmentation, etc.)
• Identify and push high-impact keywords for ranking and growth
• Control wasted spend through search term analysis and negation
• Allocate budget across SKUs based on performance and growth potential
• Balance ACOS vs TACOS vs revenue growth
• Provide clear weekly insights:
• What improved
• What declined
• Why it happened
• What actions are being taken next

What We’re Looking For

You should:
• Have hands-on experience managing Amazon PPC accounts with multiple SKUs
• Understand how PPC impacts organic ranking and total sales
• Be comfortable making decisions that involve trade-offs (profit vs growth)
• Be proactive — bring ideas without being asked
• Be able to explain your thinking clearly and with numbers

Required Experience
• Proven experience managing Amazon Sponsored Products campaigns
• Experience working with consumer products (preferred)
• Experience scaling products, not just maintaining them
• Strong understanding of:
• Keyword targeting (broad, phrase, exact)
• Search term harvesting & negation
• Bid and placement strategy

How We Evaluate Candidates

You will be asked questions like:
• “If your top keyword drops from page 1 to page 2, what do you do?”
• “Would you ever run campaigns at a loss? When and why?”
• “How do you d ---------- when to scale vs pull back spend?”

We are looking for clear, real answers based on experience, not theory.

To Apply

Please include:
1. A brief overview of your experience
2. A real example where you increased sales or improved performance
3. Your answer to this question:

“If ACOS increases but total sales and organic ranking improve, is that a good or bad outcome? Why?”

Additional Notes
• This role can be part-time or contract to start
• We are looking for someone who can grow with the business
• Compensation will be based on experience and level of ownership

We’re looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for results — not just manage campaigns.
