Amazon FBM Sourcing Specialist Full-time · Remote · Philippines-based
---
About the role
We are a growing Amazon FBM (Fulfilled by Merchant) seller looking for a detail-oriented, self-sufficient, and highly motivated product sourcing specialist to help us identify and secure profitable products. You'll be a core part of our sourcing operation — researching competitor storefronts, building distributor relationships, and mining wholesale catalogs to find our next winning products. We expect our tea
---
What you'll do
- Perform reverse storefront sourcing by identifying competitors' current profitable products on Amazon and reverse-engineering the supply chain behind them
- Research and identify relevant wholesale distributors and brands that supply those products
- Sign up for distributor and wholesale accounts on behalf of the company
- Follow up consistently with distributors to obtain product catalogs, pricelists, and account approvals
- Parse and analyze wholesale distributor price lists and catalogs to identify products with strong profit potential
- Run profitability checks on sourced products using Seller Amp (factoring in Amazon fees, shipping costs, and sell-through rates) and log results clearly in Google Sheets
- Maintain a well-organized sourcing tracker / master sheet in Google Sheets documenting all leads, distributor contacts, product viability notes, and follow-up statuses
- Continuously expand our sourcing pipeline beyond reverse sourcing — using distributor catalogs as an ongoing source of new product opportunities
- Flag high-potential products with clear profitability notes for team review
---
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience with Seller Amp, Keepa, and Google Sheets — these are required, not optional
- Demonstrated experience with reverse storefront sourcing for Amazon - you should be able to do this from day one without training
- Experience with wholesale sourcing: finding distributors, applying for accounts, and following up to obtain catalogs
- Ability to interpret Keepa data (rank history, price history, sales velocity) to assess product viability
- Strong attention to detail when logging product data and profitability metrics
- Self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't need to be micromanaged
- Comfortable working through large distributor catalog files (CSV/Excel/Google Sheets)
- Solid written English for distributor outreach and communications
- Reliable internet connection with availability during US business hours (or significant overlap)
---
Good to have
- Experience with Amazon FBM specifically (not just FBA)
- Previous experience building or maintaining sourcing SOPs or master sheets
- Background supporting a US-based Amazon seller
- Hands-on experience successfully ungating brands or categories on Amazon
---
Key deliverables
- Regularly updated sourcing tracker with all leads, viability assessments, and distributor pipeline status
- Consistent weekly output of new product leads reviewed and logged (quota to be agreed upon during onboarding)
- Active distributor pipeline: accounts applied for, followed up on, and catalogs received and parsed
- Clean, well-documented profitability notes for every product evaluated
