JOB OVERVIEW

I run a Takealot store in South Africa and currently do retail arbitrage using Temu. I want to transition my top products to direct importing from China to improve my margins.I’m looking for an experienced Amazon FBA VA who has done product research and Alibaba/1688 supplier sourcing before.Your main tasks will be:Use my existing Takealot product links and Temu links to find the same or very similar products on Alibaba / 1688.Contact multiple suppliers to get quotes (unit price, MOQ, packaging, lead time).Find and compare freight options (air/sea/courier or freight forwarders).Calculate total landed cost per unit in South Africa (product + shipping + estimated duties).Prepare comparison sheets showing how much I will save vs buying on Temu.Requirements:Previous experience as an Amazon FBA VA (product research & supplier sourcing).Strong experience using Alibaba (and ideally 1688).Good English and clear communication.Strong at using Google Sheets / Excel.Nice to have:Experience calculating landed cost and profit margins.Experience with other marketplaces (e.g. eBay, Shopee, Lazada).Workload: initially this is a Gig but going forward~10 hours per week looking for arbitrage products on Alibaba/express/madeinchina/etc. In order to sell on ----------
