JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Amazon Category Manager to help manage and grow one of our home audio categories across Amazon. This could include soundbars, bookshelf speakers, DAB radios, or a combination of categories across UK and EU markets. The role is suited to someone with a strong understanding of Amazon as a sales channel, including SEO, pricing, promotions, commercial performance, and marketplace optimisation.
The ideal candidate will be commercially minded, highly analytical, and confident knowing which levers to pull to drive growth, profitability, and visibility across Amazon. This is a hands-on role focused on category performance, and would suit someone with a good amount of experience managing Amazon categories, product performance, and trading activity.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow performance across one or more Amazon home audio categories
Monitor sales, traffic, conversion, pricing, and commercial performance across marketplaces
Identify opportunities to improve category growth, profitability, and product visibility
Manage Amazon pricing, promotional activity, and commercial planning in line with business goals
Review performance trends and recommend the right actions to improve revenue and margin
Support SEO improvements across listings, including keyword usage, content optimisation, and visibility strategy
Understand how Amazon PPC is impacting category performance and work alongside PPC support where needed
Analyse category, product, and marketplace data to identify risks, opportunities, and priorities
Help shape launch, promotional, and trading plans for products across Amazon
Monitor competitor activity, pricing shifts, market trends, and category changes
Work closely with internal teams to align content, stock, promotions, pricing, and wider Amazon strategy

Required Experience
Proven hands-on experience managing Amazon categories, marketplaces, or account performance
Strong understanding of Amazon SEO and listing optimisation
Experience managing pricing, promotions, and catalogue performance on Amazon
Good understanding of commercial data, including revenue, margins, profit, VAT, and COGS
Strong understanding of Amazon trading levers and how to improve category performance
Good knowledge of Amazon PPC and how advertising impacts visibility, sales, and profitability
Experience reading and interpreting performance data to make practical commercial decisions
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills for reporting and analysis
Strong understanding of Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
Familiarity with Data Dive
Able to spot issues quickly and identify the right actions to improve performance

Desirable Experience
Experience across UK and EU Amazon marketplaces
Experience with Amazon launches, seasonal planning, and promotional calendars
Familiarity with tools such as Helium 10, Pacvue, Data Dive, Seller Legend or similar ecommerce platforms
Experience working with a consumer product catalogue, ideally within home audio or electronics
Understanding of stock management and how availability impacts performance

This role will support the management of one or more home audio categories, which may include soundbars, bookshelf speakers, DAB radios, or a combination of categories across UK and EU Amazon markets.
A performance-based incentive is also on the table for the right candidate.
