Are you a strategic, data-driven Amazon operator with a passion for optimization and brand growth?
We are a fast-growing Amazon private label brand seeking a full-time Amazon Account / Brand Operations Manager to oversee our listing performance, conversion optimization, and brand presence on Amazon.
You’ll play a key leadership role in improving conversion rates, maintaining a strong brand identity, and driving account health through data-backed decisions. This is a long-term opportunity with growth potential in a collaborative, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accountability & Ownership
Own and optimize Amazon listings for maximum visibility and conversions
Manage brand positioning, messaging, and consistency across listings, A+ content, and storefront
Implement CRO strategies and coordinate ongoing A/B tests
Coordinate freelancers and vendors (designers, photographers, copywriters, content creators)
Monitor and improve brand health metrics: rankings, reviews, CTR, CR, Buy Box, etc.
Ensure Amazon account hygiene: compliance, suppressed listings, variations, flat files (as needed), category attributes, and policy adherence
Daily & Weekly Tasks
Perform ongoing listing audits and implement improvements (titles, bullets, images, backend, A+, attributes)
Analyze competitors for positioning and conversion opportunities (without product scouting)
Track performance: sessions, conversion rate, CTR, sales rank, review velocity, return rate
Collaborate with PPC, supply chain, and creative teams to align:
Listing updates with ad strategy
Inventory levels with promo and demand forecasts
Creative needs with conversion goals
Manage reporting and ensure action items are executed consistently
Long-Term Projects & Goals
Build a consistent, strategic brand identity across all customer touchpoints on Amazon
Create a repeatable system for ongoing listing improvement and CRO
Improve customer loyalty and retention through stronger messaging, brand voice, and content
Develop SOPs for listing updates, creative briefs, review management, and performance reporting
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
KPI 1: Listing Quality & Organic Performance
Objective: Improve listing visibility and discoverability through optimization
Metrics:
Keyword indexing coverage + organic rank improvements
CTR improvements (Search + ads-supported)
Reduction in suppressed/invalid attributes and listing issues
Actions:
Run keyword research and update listings using Helium 10 + market analysis
Maintain listing audit checklist and optimization tracker
Monitor indexing, rank trends, and category attribute completeness
KPI 2: Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
Objective: Improve conversion rate through data-backed iteration
Metric: Conversion Rate (%) from Amazon Business Reports
Actions:
Optimize copy, images, A+ content, and brand story
Run split tests where possible (ManageByStats, Splitly, Experiments, or equivalent)
Monitor behavior signals (CTR, CVR, returns, reviews) and iterate
KPI 3: Brand Health & Customer Trust
Objective: Improve brand reputation and customer experience
Metrics:
Review rating + review velocity
Return rate trends and top return reasons
Q&A hygiene and listing clarity improvements
Actions:
Review monitoring + recurring issue reporting
Coordinate content updates to address objections/returns
Strengthen product education via visuals + A+ modules
Qualifications & Skills
Required
3+ years managing private label brands on Amazon (account management / listing optimization
Deep understanding of Amazon SEO and algorithm fundamentals
Strong experience with Helium 10, keyword research, and listing optimization
Proven ability to brief and coordinate creatives (designers, copywriters, photographers)
Familiarity with A+ content, storefront management, and conversion tracking
Strong operational discipline: can manage tasks, trackers, and deadlines without hand-holding
Preferred
Background in marketing, branding, or e-commerce growth strategy
Experience with CRO/testing platforms (e.g., ManageByStats, Splitly, Amazon Experiments)
Experience using Asana, Notion, or Trello for project management
Understanding of PPC’s relationship to CTR/CVR and organic rank (coordination-level, not necessarily hands-on media buying)
