Maison Emerald

Maison Emerald is a Dubai-based private travel, events and lifestyle company working with an international client base and a global network of luxury travel partners.

We are looking for an experienced Air & Ticketing Specialist to join our team full-time remotely from the Philippines.

This is primarily a behind-the-scenes air and ticketing role, rather than a client-facing travel advisor position. You will become our internal specialist for flights, supporting both our leisure and corporate travel business and working closely with our travel team.

The Role

Your primary responsibility will be managing the air side of our travel operations from enquiry through to ticketing and post-ticket servicing.

You should be extremely comfortable working independently in Sabre and ideally have experience working with a US-based travel agency, host agency, consolidator or similar environment.

On a typical day, you may be asked to:

Research and build domestic and international flight options

Construct complex, multi-city and multi-sector itineraries

Work confidently within Sabre GDS

Price and compare published and applicable negotiated/private fares

Interpret fare rules and ticketing restrictions

Create and manage PNRs

Issue tickets where authorised

Process exchanges, reissues and refunds

Calculate fare differences, penalties and residual values

Manage schedule changes, cancellations and airline disruptions

Handle seat assignments, SSRs and other air-related servicing

Review ticketing deadlines and ensure bookings are actioned correctly

Support both leisure and corporate flight requirements

Work with our US host-agency infrastructure and associated processes

Maintain accurate internal records and communicate clearly with the wider team

Attention to detail is critical. Our clients frequently travel internationally in premium cabins and may have complicated itineraries, multiple travellers, tight connections and last-minute changes. We need someone who enjoys solving these puzzles rather than being intimidated by them.

When Air Is Quiet

This will be a varied role within a growing company.

During quieter periods, you will support the wider Maison Emerald team with travel operations, including:

Hotel research and reservations

Supplier confirmations and follow-up

Itinerary and booking administration

Checking reservation details and documentation

Updating internal systems and client records

Reconciling booking information

General travel operations and administrative support

You do not need to be an expert in every area from day one. We are looking for someone adaptable who is happy to learn and become an important part of a small, fast-moving team.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Strong hands-on Sabre GDS experience

Professional experience with airline reservations and ticketing

Confidence handling complex international itineraries

Experience with exchanges, reissues, refunds and schedule changes

Strong understanding of airline fare rules

Excellent written English

Very high attention to detail

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Able to manage multiple requests and priorities without constant supervision

Calm and methodical when dealing with urgent changes or disrupted travel

Highly Desirable:

Previous experience supporting a US travel agency or US-style host agency

Experience with luxury or high-end leisure travel

Corporate travel experience

International business and first-class ticketing experience

Knowledge of airline alliances, routings and international fare construction

Experience with hotel reservations and general travel operations

Familiarity with tools and workflows used by modern remote travel agencies

Technical knowledge matters, but attitude matters just as much.

You don't need to be the loudest person in the room. You do need to communicate clearly, take ownership of your work, ask sensible questions and proactively flag problems rather than waiting for someone else to discover them.

Working With Us

Maison Emerald is based in Dubai but operates internationally. This is a full-time remote position based in the Philippines.

You will work directly with our Dubai team and become our internal point person for flight research, ticketing and air servicing.

This is not a call-centre role and it is not a high-volume package holiday position. We care more about accuracy, problem-solving, responsiveness and quality of work.
