Who We Are
Altura Funding is a business funding and capital solutions company based in Cleveland, Ohio. We move fast and we expect results. We are bringing our credit repair operations fully in-house and we need someone who already knows what they are doing — not someone we have to train from scratch.
What This Role Is
You will manage consumer credit dispute campaigns on behalf of our clients using legally compliant, aggressive dispute strategies under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). You will challenge inaccurate, unverifiable, and outdated negative items across all three credit bureaus. This is not a basic dispute role. We expect sophisticated, consumer-law-based strategies executed at high volume with fast turnaround.
What You Will Do
Draft and submit customized, consumer-law-based dispute letters to Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion
Challenge negative items using FCRA Section 611 (accuracy and completeness), Section 605 (obsolete items), and Section 623 (furnisher responsibilities)
Use FDCPA-based debt validation letters to challenge collection accounts
Write goodwill adjustment requests, pay-for-delete proposals, and method of verification demands
Track all dispute timelines, bureau responses, and client file updates with meticulous accuracy
Coordinate with our team on client readiness for business funding as credit profiles improve
Manage multiple client files simultaneously without missing deadlines
Communicate client progress clearly and on schedule
Who You Are
You are not someone who logs into Credit Repair Cloud, DisputeBee, or any other platform and blasts out generic templates. We have seen what that produces and it is not good enough for our clients. We need someone who understands the law, knows how to craft custom dispute arguments, and can move the needle fast.
You know that real results come from understanding why a negative item is on the report, identifying the correct legal angle to challenge it, and executing with precision. You do not guess. You do not wait. You know that bureaus have 30 days to respond and you use every tool available within that window to get results.
If you need six months to start producing, this is not the role for you. Our clients need movement quickly and we expect to see results within the first 30 days of working a file. If you have a proven track record and documented results to show for it, we want to hear from you. If you do not, please do not apply.
What You Must Have
Minimum 2 years of hands-on credit dispute experience — not just using software, actually writing and managing disputes from strategy to resolution
Deep working knowledge of FCRA, FDCPA, and Metro 2 compliance standards
Ability to draft original, legally grounded dispute letters — not template blasts
Experience working directly with all three major bureaus and their dispute processes
Familiarity with credit repair platforms but the ability to operate beyond their built-in templates
Extreme attention to detail and the ability to manage high volume without errors
Strong written English communication skills
Documented results you can show during the interview — we will ask
What We Do Not Do
We operate strictly within the bounds of federal consumer protection law. We do not promise specific score increases, we do not dispute accurate information, and we do not use deceptive or fraudulent practices. If that is not how you operate, this is not the right fit.
Compensation
Competitive base pay based on experience. Performance bonuses tied to documented client results. Long-term opportunity for the right person.
To Apply
Send your resume, a description of your credit repair experience, and at least two documented examples of dispute outcomes you have achieved for clients. Applications without proven results will not be reviewed.
