## **Key Responsibilities**
### **Insurance & EOB Processing**
* Enter Explanation of Benefits (EOB) data into our Practice Management System accurately and efficiently.
* Verify, match, and correct insurance information as needed to ensure claims are processed properly.
* Identify any discrepancies or issues and communicate them promptly to the billing team.
### **Vision Plan Benefit Preparation**
* Pull patient vision plan benefits **before their appointments** to help streamline the office’s daily workflow.
* Document plan details clearly, including copays, allowances, eligibility, and authorization requirements.
* Communicate benefit summaries to the office manager and pre-testing/front-desk teams as needed.
### **Billing & Collections Support**
* Assist the office manager by preparing patient statements and bills for collections.
