About the Role:
A growing U.S. healthcare practice is seeking an Administrative Operations Coordinator to oversee daily administrative operations while providing outstanding support to patients and providers.
You'll coordinate appointments, manage patient communications, maintain electronic records, and assist with insurance verification to ensure the practice runs efficiently.
This role combines medical office administration with excellent customer service and requires outstanding communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage patient scheduling and calendar coordination
Answer incoming phone calls professionally
Respond promptly to emails and patient inquiries
Process new patient registrations and intake documentation
Maintain electronic medical records accurately
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
Coordinate appointment confirmations and reminders
Support clinicians with administrative requests
Ensure HIPAA compliance in all communications
Qualifications:
Previous experience in healthcare administration or medical office support
Excellent English communication skills with a professional American phone presence
Familiarity with EHR platforms (SimplePractice preferred)
Experience with insurance verification is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
